Stylish Cost Calculator
May 2026 Product Update
Mike
Hey, over the last 30 days, we focused on updates that help your WordPress calculators convert more reliably: stronger quote submissions on cached sites, better payment validation for advanced pricing formulas, cleaner PDF quote controls, a new wedding budget template, and a broad round of frontend design polish.
If your website uses calculators for service estimates, product configuration, event pricing, or lead generation, these updates are designed to make the experience smoother for both you and your customers.
Table of Contents
✅ More reliable quote submissions on cached WordPress sites
We improved how Stylish Cost Calculator handles quote form validation when aggressive caching tools, including setups like LiteSpeed Cache, interfere with security tokens. Instead of silent failures, the system is now better equipped to detect issues, return errors, improve logging, and protect the quote capture process.
Why it matters: Lost quote requests are lost revenue. For example, a roofing company running Google Ads to a “Get an Instant Roof Estimate” calculator needs every submitted quote request to reach the sales team. These improvements help make sure serious leads are not missed because of cache-related submission issues.
🛡️ Stronger Stripe validation for Advanced Pricing Formula calculators
We fixed Stripe validation issues connected to Advanced Pricing Formula setups, including calculators where APF elements are linked to checkboxes and other selectable options. We also improved Stripe item details and Fee & Discount support so complex pricing flows behave more predictably at checkout.
Why it matters: If you sell configurable services online, checkout accuracy is critical. A print shop, for example, may calculate price based on paper type, quantity, rush delivery, design add-ons, and discounts. These updates help customers move from estimate to payment with fewer interruptions.
⚙️ New option to hide totals in detailed lists and PDFs
You can now remove the total price row from the detailed list and generated PDF quote. This gives you more control over how pricing is presented when sharing itemized estimates with leads or clients.
Why it matters: A marketing agency can show a client the selected deliverables — SEO audit, landing page build, ad creative, monthly reporting — without immediately showing the final total in the PDF. This is useful when you want the quote to support a sales conversation rather than replace it.
💍New Wedding Budget calculator template
We added a new Wedding Budget template to help users launch a polished event pricing calculator faster. The template includes updated pricing and URL statistics so it is easier to adapt for real-world event planning use cases.
Why it matters: Wedding planners, venues, florists, photographers, and catering companies can use a budget calculator to capture leads earlier in the buying journey. A couple exploring venue, decor, catering, and photography options can get an instant estimate instead of waiting for a manual reply.
🎨 Cleaner frontend layouts across sliders, checkboxes, toggles, dropdowns, and multi-step forms
We shipped a broad set of visual refinements across Stylish Cost Calculator’s frontend styles. Updates include improved checkbox alignment, better slider spacing, cleaner quantity boxes, fixed dropdown image sizing, centered icons and text, tooltip positioning improvements, progress bar fixes, Safari-specific toggle fixes, and better multi-step form spacing.
Why it matters: Your calculator often acts like a mini sales page. For an event venue rental company, a clean “Additional Services” calculator with properly aligned toggles, images, and price hints feels more professional — and that can make visitors more comfortable submitting a quote request.
🔍 Improved Quotes & Leads search, filters, and status tags
We refined the Quotes & Leads table with improved search behavior, cleaner filters, and better status tag display. This makes it easier to manage incoming quote requests from your WordPress dashboard.
Why it matters: A busy home cleaning company may receive dozens of quote requests each week. Better filtering and clearer statuses help the team quickly identify new, contacted, or completed leads without digging through messy records.
🕹️ Also new: more display control while calculators load
We added a setting to disable the loading background blur. This gives site owners more visual control over how calculators appear while loading, especially on pages with custom backgrounds or carefully designed landing page sections.
