Wireless Door Contact

Installed to a door or window, activating the alarm if opened. Almost always used for external doors. Protect doors which can easily be forced, or as a means of reminding the end user if a door is left open when arming the system.
Should always be installed on the last door you intend to leave through when arming the system.

Wireless motion (PIR) detector

Designed to accurately monitor a room for movment. Usually mounted in the corner of the room, detectors leave little or no blind spots. Which rooms?
Ground floor - Rooms with external doors or windows which could be used for access. Bathrooms or rooms with no valuables are discretionary.
Above ground level - Landings and any rooms with access to a balcony, flat roof or door or window which could be used for easy access.

Wireless Shock Detector

Designed to activate if a sudden vibration is detected, shock detectors can be installed to a door, panel or window frame. Giving the most early warning, often before an intruder has gained access to the premise. This type of sensor will quite often deter an intruder before they can gain entry.

Wireless Dual Technology motion detector

These detectors work exactly the same as a PIR detector, but are much less prone to a false alarm caused by heat movement. This should be used instead of a PIR detector in rooms which have open fires, large glass panels or with lots of airflow.
