Stylish Cost Calculator
August 2026 Product Update
Mike
Hey, here’s what’s new this month: smarter calculator setup, richer Zapier and webhook data, more polished branded PDFs, cleaner conditional logic, and a smoother mobile quoting experience.
Table of Contents
🧠 Smarter Element Suggester for Faster Calculator Creation
The Element Suggester has been improved to better clarify what you’re trying to build before creating elements. Instead of rushing into the wrong setup, it can guide the user with follow-up questions and produce more useful element recommendations.
User benefit: Less time correcting calculator structure and fewer pricing mistakes when starting from an idea, template, or rough description.
Where: WordPress Admin > Stylish Cost Calculator > Calculator Builder > Element Suggester / AI Setup Assistant
🔗 More Complete Zapier and Webhook Data
Live integration payloads now include more of the calculator data users expect, including distance and dropdown values. This makes it easier to send quote details into your CRM, spreadsheet, project management tool, or email automation workflow.
User benefit: Your follow-up systems receive richer lead context automatically, reducing manual copy-paste work and helping sales teams respond with the right details.
Where: Calculator Settings > Integrations > Zapier / Webhooks
✨ Better Branded PDFs with Footer CSS and Text/HTML Images
PDF quote generation now has improved support for custom footer styling and sanitized Text/HTML images. This helps your downloadable quotes look more polished and brand-consistent.
User benefit: Send quote PDFs that feel like professional sales documents, not generic form exports.
Where: Calculator Settings > PDF / Email Quote Settings > Custom Footer and Text/HTML Elements
📱 Smoother Mobile Quote Views and Multi-Step Conversion Actions
Frontend quote displays received polish to prevent detailed list overflow, especially on smaller screens. Multi-step forms also now keep key conversion actions available on the final step.
User benefit: Visitors can review totals, itemized selections, and final actions more clearly before submitting a quote or continuing to payment.
Where: Public Calculator Shortcode Pages > Mobile View; Calculator Settings > Frontend Options > Multi-Step Form
🔀 Cleaner Conditional Logic and Element Duplication
We improved how duplicated elements and conditional logic references behave inside the builder. Duplicated elements now preserve their order more consistently, and conditional logic is better protected when referenced elements are deleted.
User benefit: Complex calculators are easier to edit without unexpected preview ordering, broken references, or confusing logic states.
Where: WordPress Admin > Stylish Cost Calculator > Edit Calculator > Element Duplication and Conditional Logic Panel
🎯 Why These Updates Matter
A great quote calculator does more than show a price. It guides the customer, captures the right data, delivers a professional quote, and sends your team the information they need to follow up quickly. These updates are designed to make that entire path smoother, from the first calculator edit to the final lead notification.
🐛 Additional fixes and polish
- Fixed distance range price updates so distance-based calculators save pricing changes correctly.
- Prevented image button deselection errors on the frontend.
